Noah UK Premiere

The view from our spot

Yesterday Jackie and I checked out the Noah premiere in Leicester Square. For both of us this was our first premiere experience, and although we didn't end up getting any autographs or pictures with any of the actors from the movie we still had a great time! We arrived around 5 pm and stood by a little ramp that was near the red/water carpet (Jackie called it "the cove of friendship," haha!). While waiting we talked for a bit with a friendly mom and her daughter, who funnily enough had lived in California before moving to England. They had a train to catch so they ended up leaving early, and the daughter gave Jackie her name so that she could send her any pictures she managed to take.

The first person we spotted was Logan Lerman, who was being very adorable while trying to take as many pictures (some of which were derpy selfies, aww!) and signing as many things as possible. Next came Emma Watson, who was definitely the crowd favorite based on the loud yelling and chanting of her name. Some other actors that we ended up catching a glimpse of included Douglas Booth, Russell Crowe, and Hugh Jackman surprisingly! I also saw three people that I've watched on YouTube, which was a funny coincidence. It was incredibly cool to see the actors in person and from not too far away.

At one point towards the end of the premiere, a security guard was randomly handing out tickets to actually go inside and see the movie. Although he was pretty close to where Jackie and I were standing, we weren't quite lucky enough to get picked. The ongoing theme of our premiere experience was "being so close, yet so far," but we still enjoyed the event and had fun hanging out! Overall, it was a pretty cool Monday night!

'Til next time!
